Documentary about Jan “Monchi” Gorkow, the singer of the punk band Fine Sahne Fischfilet from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The band is publicly involved against racism, sexism and homophobia, but also against emigration, lack of prospects and reversal frustrations – themes that are all reflected in the music of the band. The actor is Charly Hübner, who was born in Mecklenburg – “Wildes Herz” is his first documentary film. Hübner shows Monchi and the other band members Olaf, Christoph, Kai, Köbi and Max as punks and local patriots, but also at big festivals and on election campaign tour.
